WHO IS A PHILOSOPHER????

A very warm welcome to those handful of people who suffer reading my blog.
i have written few of my thoughts on religion philosophy etc......but now i feel the need to write something more basic more common....
all of us have few habits that we love doing in our leisure time...it can be anything from collecting old coins, old stamps or playing  etc...these field of interest varies from person to person and place to place.
..if i ask someone who is starving the most important thing in life..the answer would b food....if i ask the same question to someone who is shivering of cold the answer would be warmth.....beyond these worldly basic questions which keep varying with time and scenario ...there are certain questions which are unanswered but still remain fascinating since the time of civilization....
questions like who we actually are????...where have we come from????...what are we here for???? is there something before and after life???  .......have kept human away from feeling that "HE IS GOD"
the above sentece seems funny and immature , but dont you think in this twenty first century world where man made machines have gone beyond our solar system .....where man has given new dimensions to artificial intelligence ....and has succesfully created living cells in lab....along with robotic computers gaining capability to learn on their own from their surroundings..........
observing from birds eye it looks like humanity is on brink of creating 'life' to be more precise i should say "intelligent life"......had their not been those basic unanswered questions and those philosophers who spend all their life for something which is beyond they feel, humanity would have become like an  ignorant brat.
now lets think what makes those philosophers different from rest of us...i remember a story i read somewhere..will try my best to present in lucid manner
one day mom dad and thomas aged around 2 were having there breakfast...mom walked with her dish to kitchen sink...after a while dad stood with his dish in hand and started floating around cieling ....little thomas is enchanted and says" daddy's flying".....hearing thomas say something mom turns around abruptly .....she screams and jam jar in her hand falls crashes down.......
point of our interest is why mom and thomas react differently.......mom knows that humans cannot fly but for thomas it is just one of the wierd things daddy does....his dad sometimes climbs  the pole adjusts the tv antenna , he uses funny machine to shave his hair, he gets under the car hood and comes out black in face
....thomas doesnt really know what we can and cannot do in this world.......
its just not gravity that we get used to as we grow there are many other things that we take for granted.....juz imagine a baby born with intelligence of an adult......he might literally go mad...
its juz another clever plan of nature that makes us adopt with the surrounding as if nothing crazy is going on around us.
the world itself becomes a habit with no time at all.it seems as if in process of growing we lose the ability to wonder about the world. and in doing so we loose something central--something philosophers try to restore.

FOR SOMEWHERE INSIDE OURSELVES SOMETHING TELLS US THAT LIFE IS A HUGE MYSTERY . THAT IS SOMETHING WE ONCE EXPERIENCED, LONG BEFORE WE LEARNED TO THINK THE THOUGHT.

INHUMAN HUMANITY

i have come up yet again with something  unpleasant to many.........
i dunno where to start this from.........never mind if its abrupt but
CAN KILLING OF AN ANIMAL BE JUSTIFIED????????????if yes hw???
killing can be justified only and only if its for survival...
a lion killing a deer is justified...because thts its diet..its system is designed to digest meat nt wheat
but hw can we justify our killing .which is not for survival but for mere taste
neither we are designed to digest meat nor we have a problem of survival if we dont eat meat
then why is it tht we even after coming to this extent of civilization couldnt crave the taste which costs a life.
being the most advanced specie of this planet is this wht the responsibility we are showing towards the co species with EQUAL RIGHTS TO BREATH TO WALK TO LIVE AS WE human HAVE
...its matter of shame for we humans coz in this particular case our behaviour is much more beastly much more uncivilized much more cruel than animals themselves..
we dont forgive a small mosquito which takes negligble amount of our blood
juz imagine hw it wud b to the one who is fed to b fed upon
WHAT IF TOMORRO A SPACE SHIP LANDS WITH CREATURES STANDING TALL AS A TEN STORIED BUILDING....TRAPPING HUMANS ....NONE ELSE THAN OUR OWN NEIGHBOURS  FAMILY MEMBERS N TREATING THEM THE SAME WAY WE TREAT OUR NONVEG DIET WHEN ALIVE ....TRAPPING OUR FRIENDS FEEDING THEM WELL SO THT they TASTE GOOD WHEN they BCM A PART OF THEIR PLATTER...
we would definetly be hurt.....many will say yes we wud b hurt but the animals we kill dont feel the same
even if its so are we humans so cheap so mean to slit a sqeaking throat which made sounds once back...are we so mean to rip those feathers which had enough life to take those birds in sky.....are we so mean to stop breath of an animal....tear open its heart which once thumped like ours like our loved ones...juz for taste ..are we so mean ?????
why doesnt a thought of similar treatment to human flashes in mind before we plunge our teeth in the flesh.
HAD THEIR BEEN a specie advance than we humans..n having us as part of diet....
may b we wud hv known hw cruel it looks.....but since their nothing such which cud make us learn
.....ARE WE HUMANS REALLY ADVANCE SPECIE
BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER HEARD A HERBIVORE EATING MEAT JUZ FOR TASTE
i feel we humans have no right to call ourselves as race with highest emotional quotient
because our emotions our intelligence is related to wht we like....
I KNW I CANT STOP PPL FRM EATING BUT I JUZ WANT THEM TO THINK THE PIECES  TASTING GOOD TO THEIR TONGUE CUD HAVE BEEN MOVING AROUND BREATHING THE SAME AIR...AND WUD HAVE BEEEN VERY MUCH ALIVE NO LESS THAN WE ARE.....

hunting happiness

In this 21st century we find many men with all the materialistic assets.......n many more who are leading an average life without much botheration of survival......n many more who bare great pains juz to meet a square meal a day..... but after reaching a stage where survival isnt a challenge....whts is the thing which is keeping humanity craving for smthing more n more n still more......?????
is it HAPPINESS.
the question tht comes next in mind...is it juz wealth women n wine tht can make one happy...
....if it is then there wud b many who are happy satisfied n content with their life ...but wht we find is quite opposite....in general we dont find any equation between wealth n happiness..
in quest of happiness we need to scratch a lil of ancient scriptures
i have chosen ram charitra manas by tulsidas for the purpose
in which he says... ..... if raam is almighty he is every whr... he is good he is in bad...he is in dirt he is in flower
thus raam is nt point to b stressed n thought abt....coz its nt this omnipresent raam which is going to change the world n help u attain peace n happiness...its the character of raam which is worth worshipping.....
i heard sm1 saying these beautiful lines"we havent seen raam..hw he looks neither we ave seen him doing aything...but we have know tulsidas his ramcharitramanas and its raam n character of this raam....with which we can talk...walk sip a coffe n spend time".....
analysing tulsidas ramcharitramanas..i found tht it doesnt stress worshipping ram but his character his nobelity.....
n above all the wisdom to decipher between good n bad without any greed ..
ITS SAME MUDDY WATER OF A POND WHICH GIVES BIRTH TO BLOODSUCKING LEECHES N ALSO THE BEAUTIFUL LOTUS.....ITS OUR WISDOM THT WE CHOOSE LOTUS N IGNORE THE LEECH....
our happiness stands juz in frnt of us..wht stands in between is the door whose key is invisble but around u
people generally say its beacause of smthing they arent happy
JUZ IMAGINE A TREE OF BABOOL WITHOUT THORNS WILL IT HAVE ANY IDENTITY
A ROSE PLANT WITHOUT FLOWER
every thing gud or bad ...saintly or evil has a character of its own
THE FLOWER SEEMS BEAUTIFUL ONLY BECAUSE U HV SEEN THORNS
SCENT SMELLS SO GUD BECAUSE U KNW WHT IS STINK
HAPPINESS N SORROW DEPENDS ON PERCEPTION
the way u feel is the way u see
with so many wordly chains a human life is juz like a imprisonment
the more u retaliate the more sorrow u find
NO ONE HAS A LIFE WITHOUT SORROW
ITS HOW U HANDLE THAT
ITS THE PAIN OF SORROW THT MAKES U NJOI THE HAPPINESS
SO TO REMAIN HAPPY EITHER WELCOME SORROW WITH A HOPE THT WHEN IN HAPPY TIME U GONNA ENJOY
OR NJOI THE PAIN AS U NJOI THE GAIN
...................................................................hope to see u again with a happiness on ur face n in ur heart

hinduism-----a so called religeon

Hinduism a religion confined only to one country called India......

U find many nations following Christianity many others following Islam but with Hinduism only one nation stands tall on the globe i.e. India

A religion with billions of follower!!!!

But is Hinduism really a religion??????????

Is there anything common among all Hindus??????

Answer???/? No...

Neither Hindus have a common belief ...nor they have a common language ...nor they follow same god....Then what’s Hinduism??????

Is it really a religion????

Hinduism never asks a person to pray god ..........Hinduism never binds a person in beliefs

What actual Hinduism talks all about is righteousness

Making people self aware of things which traverse the path of "dharma" that is wisdom of deciphering between the good and bad...holy and evil....

Unlike other religions Hinduism never binds u in its chains of superstitions or beliefs

A religion with most tolerating soul......

The point to pity here is that the youth of India today without understanding what actual Hinduism is????Where it lies??? Is it really demanding or is it giving??? Reach a conclusion that Hinduism is a religion of superstitions

...... the fact of matter is that they never have patience to read something about Hinduism....what they know about it is through there surroundings......which has got many frauds who earn their living from a great crowd even consisting of intelligent breed believing in superstitions

Where the hell do superstitions come from in Hinduism?????????

In any Hindu prayer whether it’s on occasion of marriage or birthday or any other occasion

There is no place for hypothetical gods.........

Hinduism has got it gods divided into three layers

The ones residing on earth...

The wind....water...... mountains..... Clouds ...trees.....nature....earth etc

The second layer consisting of 8 planets..... Stars ......and sun...

The third layer consisting of unseen power whose existence is still doubtful...Hinduism never involves the common man into this third layer.....its left for intellectuals and philosophers...

So the thing we were talking was about Hindu rituals

So what actually is a Hindu pooja ...lets c....

A must for Hindu pooja is a "kalash".....what does it denote??????????

The vessel represents the universe

The water in it represents the water the source of life on earth

The metallic coins in kalash represent the minerals hidden in womb of holy earth

The leaves places over it represents flora the greenery

The grains on it denote the food for living which we obtain from the plants etc

Then finally kalash has a lamp on it...which represents life.....

All of them are interconnected....n as a whole represent the whole.

Hinduism godifies the essential elements for living

It godifies river...for example say ganga...the godification is not meant for u to just pray...godification is made in order such that u respect it ...n if u respect it u wont pollute it...or harm it in any way

It applies not only to one river it applies to all rivers mountains trees soil everything

Do you think there would have been global warming...green house effect ...depletion of ozone...extinction of many species from flora n fauna had we followed the actual Hinduism...

Ok we can say it was demand of the time the industrialization etc....but at least if we had the respect even of a grains size we wouldn’t have reached a situation like this...

Calling Hinduism as a religion is obviously a big mistake

Because it is a junction of philosophy, care for nature and righteousness.....

I feel myself proud to b born in a religion which never forces me to believe and pray the unseen...

Am proud of the religion which is all about wisdom, n facts which r meant only for better human life as a whole without differentiating Hindu or Muslim or Christian for that matter..

Its here in depths of Hinduism you taste the elixir of life

Thanks for your patience to read all this stuff

Now it’s up to you to have an opinion about Hinduism……

understanding philosophy

"Philosophy", a term from which many of us try to run away from.
but what actually philosophy is ?????? where from it  originates??????what it deprives u off ?????n what it brings u to????
these are the few things, a must know to enjoy the mature taste of it.
philosophy is something which is understood or thought of only with a filled tummy
u cant expect a poor to think of anything else than his livelihood
n philosophy is a field which never earns you a bread.
so when humans became civilized got their regular meals and a set pattern of life
then came a thought of....
how can we better our living......leading to advancement in science
n along with that few crazy minds got thoughts like.....
why r we here?????whats our final goal???????whats real????/whats ours?????
n many such questions which gave birth to philosophy.
every science begins at philosophy and end as art
it arises in hypothesis and flows into achievement......philosophy is hypothetical interpretation of unknown(as in metaphysics)
science is a captured territory and behind it are those secure regions in which knowledge and art build our imperfect and marvelous world.
science seems always to advance where as philosophy always seems to loose ground. yet this is only because philosophy accepts hard and hazardous task of dealing with problems not yet open to methods of science  problems like good and evil, beauty and ugliness. order and freedom, life and death.
as soon as field of enquiry yields knowledge susceptible of exact formulation it is called science.
science tells us how to heal and how to kill; it reduces the death rate in retail and then kills us  wholesale in war.
but only wisdom and desire coordinated in lights of all experience can tell us when to heal and when to kill..
Philosophy seems to stand still, perplexed, but only because she leaves the fruits of succes to her daughters, the science and herself passes on divinely discontent to the uncertain and unexplored

There is pleasure in philosophy and a lure even in the mirages it creates with the truth
and truth will not make us rich but it makes us free

so lets resolve on this voyage of ours to halt at ports of light and keep out of muddy streams of rest

philosophy is juz that dear delight in the light of eternity.

indian democracy...a beauty or the beast?????

 political "gunda-RAJ"

lets give little serious thoughts for our mind to brood upon which might act as a spark for the revolution resulting in betterment of our country , our life n probably life of our off springs.

trying our best to keep an eye & to understand the political hierarchy of the so called worlds largest democracy, our country.

hope we remain successful in keeping ourselves aloof of the cheap politics for attaining power, since we got a bigger goal with willingness of finding the loopholes either in our constitution or in judiciary so as to change the disrespectful look which most of us give it presently.

starting afresh with the present disgusting incident of slapping a co politician just becoz he was not taking oath in local language.
here we sit expecting politicians to integrate us with vast diversity of our motherland in language culture, traditions n what not........n there stands a party with an agenda which clearly shows the flimsy path its heading to.....forget about strengthening the country ..unifying the states n its people etc....dont they feel ashamed of dividing the nation ????...are they not reminded of the national anthem which salutes the Indian unity in diversity and in whose honor they stand erect before commencement of every session????? instead the party has stooped so down for vote bank policy...to attain power and wealth
the point which ticks in every right person's mind is ....

are these the kind of leaders n parties which the likes of nehru n Gandhi dreamt while giving birth to the largest democracy ever..........?????????????

are these the leaders n parties whom we elect to safeguard our right and pride......???????

the story still doesnt end here..the brave knights who dared to execute such a shameful act in a assembly are not still secluded...they are honored by their own party members for standing strong on their agenda

seeing this dont we feel somewhere ...how are these rogues and their gangs (ie their party) are licensed to b a part of legislature??????????????

hw cn people with their own thoughts not goin beyond their state are expectd to meet their peoples global needs n requirements.??????????????

and above all inspite of all that has happened
the accused are juz suspended .........but for four years

which is again a proof of vote bank politics
the government sentences them with such a foolish verdict juz to gain a round of applause ....so tht none cant point them out saying that." they dint punish the offenders to the extent of seriousness of the crime they committed"

but whos gonna ask them to think about the people of the offenders constituencies
they will b left with no public representative......this limelights the hurry in which the decision was taken with an urge to show off how concerned they are...

its time for we the ordinary people to rise ,,,,,since after 60 odd years of independence we have come to know that most of these politicians are weeds of the same field.....
its time to raise a war cry against such intellectually poor but greedy selves of Indian politics
